Priorities

empower local government

I believe government works best when it stays grounded in the people it serves. Too often, decisions are made far from the communities they impact, and local governments are left navigating mandates instead of solving problems. I have spent my career in local government, and I have seen firsthand that the best solutions come from those closest to the work.

expand affordable housing

I am also focused on tackling one of the most pressing challenges facing our communities: housing. Affordability is not just about building more units—it is about making sure the system works for buyers and families.

We need to develop tools and policies that ensure cost savings are actually passed on to homeowners, not absorbed along the way. That means rethinking incentives, reducing unnecessary barriers, and making it possible for working families to achieve stability again.

WORK TOGETHER IN MADISON

I am not interested in ideological battles or outrage-driven politics. Our communities deserve leaders who focus on real problems and real outcomes. That means being willing to work with anyone who brings forward a good idea and having the integrity to call out bad ones, regardless of where they come from. Accountability should not be partisan.

PROTECT FAMILY FARMS AND SOIL

Farming is not just an industry in Wisconsin—it is part of our identity. Yet too many farmers are being squeezed between rising costs and shrinking margins. We need to make farming both ecologically and financially sustainable. That includes protecting our soil, supporting family farms, and ensuring farmers can operate fairly in the marketplace. Policies like allowing seed reuse, advancing the right to repair agricultural equipment, and rebalancing how products are bought and sold can help restore independence and long-term viability to our farming communities.
